The Women’s Business Hub empowers Saskatoon’s newcomer women entrepreneurs through education, training, and mentorship.

By creating community and supporting business growth we are strengthening Saskatoon’s economy. Join us in achieving our $1 Million goal.

The Need in Our City

Newcomer women in Saskatoon face unique challenges when starting a business.

This includes: limited access to capital, professional networks, and culturally relevant support. The Women’s Business Hub was created to remove these barriers and provide the tools necessary for success.

Since 2019, demand for our programs has skyrocketed and far exceeds our current capacity.

While we strive to serve as many aspiring entrepreneurs as possible, the reality is that our space, resources, and funding can only go so far. Without financial support, many talented and driven women are left waiting for the opportunity to build a better future for themselves and their families.

The Women’s Business Hub is a dynamic space where newcomer women develop their skills under the guidance of industry experts.

WHY SUPPORT US

Building Our Community

With the help from our donors, in 2024:

Krizstina Marki

Starting a yoga business in Canada was a challenge for me as a newcomer. While I had over 15 years of experience teaching yoga in Serbia, I found the business landscape in Canada completely different—laws, banking, accounting, and taxes were all confusing.

The Women’s Business Hub (WBH) provided the knowledge and practical support I needed to launch my business successfully. Their Global Marketplace e-commerce platform made it easier for clients to pay online, significantly boosting my business. The social media and marketing workshops also helped me understand how to attract clients, especially on platforms like Instagram.

Thanks to WBH, I turned my passion for yoga into a thriving business. Their support made all the difference in navigating the challenges of starting fresh in a new country!
